Night at the Pour House

Promoters and Organizers of the Vision 5K at the Pour House.Over 70 people gathered at the Pour House Bar for Vision 5K Night on January 26. Past race participants and their friends joined to connect with people interested in getting involved in the V5K, either as a volunteer or a participant.

The night raised awareness about the Vision 5K cause and sparked excitement for the 2010 Race. Race Founder, Joe Quintanilla, also spoke about the significance of this race – it not only raises awareness, but also offers individuals with visual impairments the chance to compete alongside their sighted peers. Mission Statement

The Vision 5K has one guiding purpose: to give men, women, and children with visual impairment a chance to compete. Not just in a road race once a year, but everyday in life. The Vision 5K raises funds and awareness so that our sponsor organizations can work to level the playing field. Our mission, in a word, is independence.
