In 2006 MAB honored me with the Jane Falk Volunteer Award. It was the proudest day of my life since my marriage!

My name is Sona Andresian and MAB is a huge part of my life. I lost my vision when I was 34. Many years later, when my husband passed away, a MAB low vision support group helped me get through it and learn to live on my own. Today, at 82, I not only attend the support group, I LEAD it. I also have a wonderful MAB volunteer who reads my mail every week.
I have been a fundraiser for the Vision 5K for eleven years, and this year I am proud to serve as the Honorary Captain of the MAB Team. MAB's services give hope and meaning to many in my situation. I honestly believe that I wouldn't be here today without MAB's support. Please give as generously as you can to help others get the help they need when they're experiencing vision loss. Thank you.
Sona
P.S. To make a donation by mail please mail a check made out to Vision 5K with my name in the memo to:
MAB/Vision 5K 200 Ivy St Brookline, MA 02446
Thank You!
